Channel switching

Hi everyone,

Is there a way i can set my Scientific Atlanta 8300 Hd receiver to switch to the channel i've program a recording to in the "Program Guide"?

Btw, anyone knows if the terminal supporting Mpeg-4 has been release yet?

Thanks for your time,

If you set up two recordings at the same time, then the PVR will switch to one of the recordings. If you've only set one recording, the tuner doesn't switch and stays on the channel that you're watching, since most people would not want to be switched to another channel in the middle of watching something.

You could set a "reminder timer" and then a reminder would flash on the screen 1 minute before the programme, but you'd have to press a button to go to that channel.
