19 James Bond movies in HD but not on Videotron

From November 16th to 24th, 2 Bond movies will air every night on Mpix starting at 6:45pm. Airing uncut and commercial free for the first time ever in Canada, catch 18 classic Bond films leading up to the premiere of Casino Royale on The Movie Network – all available in HD and OnDemand For Your Eyes Only.

but The Ultimate Bond Event is not. If you don’t already have The Movie Network be sure to subscribe before it’s too late! After all, You Only Live Twice.

Want to use your GoldenEye for A View to a Kill that can’t be beat? Check out The Ultimate Bond Event in High Definition! So sit back, pour yourself a martini

...erm, I don't get what you're trying to say in your post.

Yes, there's a 'Bond' marathon coming on TMN. Are you saying for some reason if you access the network through Videotron you don't get it? Everything that airs on TMN-HD is a carbon copy of what's on TMN-1 (the 1st of the 5 stations). So what am I missing?

The Bond HD movies are on MPIX HD, not on TMN HD, and there is a discussion going on in Ultimate Bond Event - 18 Movies in HD

how crappy is that! Listen, I can't complain too much I guess. I have TMN HD, all the channels available on videotron I want and my bill is almost half of my brother in laws who has XpressVu.

However the lack of MpixHD is my biggest gripe with them. No smallville season 7 in HD is a very close second.

Just a question ...

MPIX in HD format is not available at Videotron, isn't?

Smallville has never been available on Videotron in HD.

As for MPix HD, I is probably not a a priority for them as it isn't one of their most popular channel in SD. I worked there for years and hardly had people subscribing to it.

Showcase and MMore HD are probably in front of it priority wise.

MMORE HD is just a timeshift for TMNHD. MPIXHD has completely different content.

I am pretty sure I saw an episode or 2 of season 5 in HD for smallville. Thursday night but not sure the channel. might have been City Tv HD. not 100% sure but pretty close.

As for MPIX not being popular I can understand. older movies. But if we got the HD version I would be on it as much as TMN HD. Trust me more so a few months. So many cool movies have played in HD there from Buffy to a Mel Brooks marathon, Godfather movies, Pink Panther and now ALL THE BONDS. Trust me, the add the HD version and it will be among the most popular.
