Package downgrade

Seeing as my cable bill seems to always be increasing and the quality of videotron's programming seems to be stagnant, I decided to call videotron to downgrade my package from 30 channels + TMN to 25 channels + TMN. The rep told me that by doing this I will lose several analog channels (such as Fox,
CNN, Teletoon etc) I assume in order to do this they will have to send a tech to install some kind of blocker. Do they have the ability to do this or leave it as is?

They do need to send someone to put the filter in, but would likely do that as part of other maintenance. So in principle you might still get access for a while.
