Maybe partly because so many people already have the Wii.

I have a PS3 and a Wii. To be honest Id want another PS3 more than I would want any other game console. Why? To hook it up to another tv and to be able to watch blurays on that too.

Our wii gets next to no game time, the games just arent that good. Hoping SMG will be good though.

I would want the one that was the most expensive which is the PS3. I'm not alone in this thought process either.

I have a Wii and a PS3 as well. I honestly almost never use my Wii but I'm planning to pick up Super Mario Galaxy today which may interest me to play the Wii again some.

Agreed 100%. Hopefully this will be out first truly worthwhile Wii game. So far our 3 games (Super Paper Mario, Zelda and SSX Blur) have been prettymuch unplayed, only older VC and GC games have been played.

I'm guessing most people already have the 360, that's why it's in 3rd... and also PS3 is the most expensive, so other part of the logic.

I doubt that since I imagine last year the top answer would have been Wii and that wouldn't have been the most expensive by a long shot

What? No none of the above.

I want a high end PC and an ECCI 6000 GTS wheel and pedal set.

Now that's gaming goodness!

Logic seems pretty good except...

More people own Wii's now than 360s, and its also less expensive than the 360. Therefore the 360 should be ahead of the wii by your logic.

The PS3 now isnt even really the most expensive, the 40gig is same price as the 20gig 360. The amazing games (finally), and added value of bluray are probably also reasons why its ahead.

It's probably pricing for the most part. The PS3 is now the best priced console, you get the most out of it hardware wise, so that would be a strong reason to own one. But hey, I bought one for a similar reason, lot of good features in a nice package, but strictly use it for BD right now because it's lacking in gaming software, in my opinion that is.

Fair enough, but unless its a lack of games in the racing genre (which its true the PS3 is currently very weak in) that statement is getting less and less valid every day. There have been several PS3 games getting 9/10 or higher from reviewers, albeit not all are exclusive (but that doesnt mean they arent great ps3 games either)

PS3 only cause I have the other 2.

Sad thing is my wife bought me one as a gift last week (40 GB version) but I returned it. Initially because she bought it from EB Games where I could not return it as soon as I opened the box and because at the time I was not sure if my 1080i projection TV did 720p and all the games would have been outputted as 480p, also she's at home with the kids so I really can't justify the purchase. Maybe next year

I was contemplating selling the Wii as I never used it (see previous posts...I did not like the Wii big time) BUT I decided to give Super Mario Galaxy a chance as it would be fun to play with my 4 year old son. The game is awsome and "feels" like the Mario that I remember from High school. My Wii survives for at least a few more months
