Well I'll continue my search I guess. The people at FS/Best Buy/Walmart/Zellers were clueless. EB Games thought they would get some in last night but not enough to even cover their pre-orders and I didn't pre-order.

Wal-mart nor FS/BB had it yet.

Bought it at EB last night. So far, it's excellent (as expected)!.

Unless its a massive release like GTA, FF, Halo, Mario/Zelda, Ive given up trying to get a game the week of its release. Not worth the effort to track it down usually

Is there an option to invert the "look" controls in the full game?

Well I found it at Microplay. The last one they had.

Yes, there is, but it isn't in the main menu options--you have to start a game, and from there you can invert the camera, as well as select the "lock strafe" option. Great game so far--very funny too!

Wow, I'm ashamed to say I didn't know a thing about this game or series. After reading this and doing a bit of Googling I am going to download the demo!

Thanks guys

Can someone confirm that it is available in store now? It still states on FS & BB that the release date is October 30th.

I have not seen it in any store myself yet except EB Games and Microplay. The guys at FS and BB both told me on Wednesday it was "on the way" but they didn't know when it would arrive. Your best bet is to just call your local EB Games and ask. If anyone has it then it would likely be them.

I bought my copy in Edmonton on Wednesday evening at the Sony Store. My son and I haven't poppoed it in yet, but tonight's the night!

Maybe BB and FS are holding it back as it has been advertised as being available next week? I got mine at EB, who seem to have lowered their prices (on games at least) to US levels--everything I saw was $60.

Well, played it for just over an hour and the kids have played it much more than that. Good game play so far. I'm still trying to get used to moving and aiming using the L1 button.

Overall, its definitely worth a buy.
