If you enjoy SP, HL2 and the following 2 episodes are the greatest 3 games you'll have ever played. Portal surprised the hell outta my for SP action too. You'll love the package.

For someone who doesn't play too much multiplayer
I've never been a huge fan of multiplayer but I've really been enjoying TF2 on my PC. There is enough variety in the classes that I was able to find a couple that suit my playing style. And though you will come across some obnoxious, racist idiots, overall the people seem to be more mature than the typical multiplayer FPS gamer. (Maybe it's because all the 14-year-olds are playing it on the XBOX? --Or do PC and XBOX players get mixed together?)

But even without TF2 the Orange Box is still worth it. HL2 is as slick and fun as ever, and Portal had great gameplay and was also hilarious.

I'll second that... Portal is a great little game. I really hope they make new maps available for DL on Live.

I think it would be very cool if they can integrate the portal device/gameplay into Episode 3... like an upgraded version of the grav gun

Would you settle (for now) with Portal in Ep2?

Could somebody try something for me? My PC has once again killed my Half-Life 2 saves. I'm on chapter 9, and don't want to play through again. I'm thinking about getting this if I can continue from where I was.

Warning, this might screw up your save. Only do this if you have a second Live account on your 360, and can start a new game.

There is a code: Left, Left, Left, Left, LB, Right, Right, Right, Right, RB, that unlocks all levels.

If you unlock all levels, can you save your progress?

Thanks.

Has anyone tried the PS3 version? I read that there are frame rate issues and slow load times... is it really that bad? I'm trying to decide whether to get the PS3 version or not

TF2 is getting some updates in the next couple of months including new maps

One of the new maps is Badlands... which I enjoyed playing on TF back in the day... My favorite (after Dustbowl of course) is Avanti which I'm hoping is coming soon!
