Free Jackets for Wii Remotes

As new Wiis are shipping with jackets for the wiimote, Nintendo is giving them free to existing customers : http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jac...ketrequest.jsp . You'll need the serial # from the console, found on the bottom. Right now they're back ordered until Oct. 15th. No shipping cost either.

I can add this to the free straps that I got but haven't used. I already bought silicon jackets for the wii-motes a couple months ago. They added some color, made the controllers easier to hold (although more difficult to change the batteries) - and they glow in the dark making them easier to find.

Thanks for the heads up!

Every man is my superior, in that, I may learn from him.

Hi!

Did anybody try to modify them to be able to use Wiimotes with the Nyko charge station?

Did it work?

Thanks!

Nick

Free stuff is always great but come on, Nintendo. We want a hard drive and/or a headset.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I would never have know about this if not for DHC. I got my free jackets in the mail yesterday. The "Nintendo" labelled package was suspiciously opened... with an outer Canada Post cellophane envelope around it saying "sorry the package arrived to us in this condition". Hmmm... wonder if someone in the mail system thought it was a game and opened it...!

Anyhow, the jackets are great. I love the feel of them and they make gripping the wii-mote much easier.
