Xbox 360 - Microsoft Mugged Their Own Sales Figures?

Quote:
It's crystal clear that Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii leave Sony's PS3 in a trail of smoke and dust more and more with every day that passes. But who's winning when there are only two consoles to be mentioned: the Wii, or the 360? I found this article today on Gamespot saying that Microsoft might have just mugged their own sales figures. How? By stuffing the retail channel.

Umm...why was "Article: " added to the thread topic for my post? I'm doing exactly the same thing that moderators do in this forum; the topic is the headline of the article. I don't see "Article: " placed in front of 'PS3 sales are "sucking wind"' or "Sony Pulls the Plug on 20GB PlayStation 3" and both those are exactly the same thing - an article.

So, what gives?

I don't know who did it because mods edit titles all the time for clarification. I have edited it back but frankly I don't see no harm since it was simply suggesting that the origin.

Angry

Whomever wrote that article is a complete moron. This article is complete speculation.

I like the comment (direct your attention to the first word in my quote)...

"IF this is indeed Microsoft's case, it will come back and hit them in the face."

So what does this mean? Did this author just make this up to fill space on a page? Microsoft and other manufacturers do not get to "stuff" retailers with product.

Where does this idiot get his info? This is such irresponsible journalism.

Well it is a blog posting referring to several other blogs and an article on Gamepot which isn't linked.

Hey Gord, we have tons of moderators. That being said, we all don't think the same.

I know some folks think the mods are all pro HD DVD and pro 360 while being anti PS3 and anti Blu-ray.

The truth is most of us own PS3s and BD discs.

Now back on topic.
