This is my setup, it’s pretty basic but it fits in my living room perfect. I just added the X-Box 360. Excuse the messy cables; I have to get a longer optical cable and a few others for the X Box.

Athena Speakers
Hitachi 42HDS69 TV
Samsung HDMI up converted DVD player
Shaw PVR (Full digital)
And my Bran new X-Box 360 with Forza Motorsports 2.

As you can kinda see, I have a PC,Wii,Dreamcast,Shaw PVR, PS3, Surround Sound, Dvd Recorder all centralized in a AV Switch (underneath the PS3) going to my tv.

Well, here is my setup. Nothing fancy, I only have a PS1, PS2, and N64, but I only play the PS2. Top is my RCA television, again, nothing fancy, but it has component video inputs (rare for 2003 on a $300 TV), RCA 1000-watt home theatre with HDMI, currently hooked up through S-Video, a Shaw DCT700 hooked up with Belkin Pure-AV composite/audio cables, PS2 hooked up with Sony Component Cables, and my stack of games, currently 45 including PS1. Sorry for the long description folks, and i usually sit on a camping chair when playing, so i can have a soft drink beside me at all times Sorry for making the pictures so large, I had them smaller but Photobucket resizes them for some reason :/ Feel free to comment, and believe me, the TV looks clear, I get alot of compliments about it, that's why it's hard to buy a new one

Well, all things being equal, I tell a lot of people that if they are happy with their current setup, don't jump to HDTV unless you are ready to squander a lot more money on gadgets afterwards!!!

I'll post an updated setup in a few hours, I just have to get my room cleaned up (as weeks go by, my room turns into a huge mess). At least I have better video games now!

Calvin940...I can't believe you haven't thrown away your regular XBOX...they're pretty much useless now! They don't support them, the DVD players on them often don't work that good, and it's the size of a PC!

I'm a big car racing fan, so when Gran Turismo 4 came out for the PS2 I decided to celebrate by building myself a new toy. I had some old school desks that I painted and I bought a pair of seats out of an old VW Passat. Plus, I used some items that I had laying around in my garage.

I don't have a dedicated home theater/game room, so it went into our master bedroom. My wife is very accommodating!



At the time I took the pictures, we didn't have the flat panel LCD or the DD5.1 receiver, but this is what it looks like with a two player game:



Of course, now that I'm using component cables with the LCD and DD5.1 the game experience is that much more fun. I have been letting my oldest 9-year-old daughter practice her driving skills, but this is what we were doing on New Year's Eve last year (2006):



I can't wait for GT5 to come out!

Many gorgeous rooms there! Calvin, do you actually charge fee for people using your ARCADE! This is definitely my type of room! Bring me back to those younger days at the arcade! Definitely having this in your own home!!!

I'm a kid at heart. It helps me remember the good ol' days and enjoy the future ones. I have friends over often enough that it is just cool to have that stuff around. Plus I restore old arcade games with some friends (much less now though because I have been way too busy).

Those that like video games can play, those that like pinball games can play. And of course who doesn't like movies?

Have you ever put your hands on and restore old Juke Box? They are cool too! I have noticed COSTCO carry some type of game machine... Designed to look like the real stuff!
