One more time with feeling. :-)
I have now had occasion to travel with the ASUS 901 on three occasions, most recently on a two week holiday in a very sunny place. The long battery life, bright screen and built in features (wireless b/g/n, bluetooth) worked flawlessly from airport, to hotel, to favourite local coffee shop. I even equipped it this time with VPN and was able to see, via encrypted tunnelling, my remote desktop at the office. All this in a secure package where nothing is stored locally (or, if it is, on a removable SDHC card carried separately). I was able to grab video and radio without a hitch poolside at the hotel using their wireless DSL.
All this in a form factor about the size of a clutch purse. It even comes in with a cloth pouch which makes it look less techy when on the street (and less attractive to snatch).
Bravo. This is the most fun, and useful, tech toy I have purchased in a long while. Translation: I'm getting my money's worth and having a blast.
