Netgear R7000 Nighthawk Router
Wondering if their are any Netgear R7000 Nighthawk Router owners on the forum who might be able to help with some problems I am having with it.
Currently, I am running with Firmware V18.104.22.168_1.1.38 (latest version) operating in AP Mode. Please note that is AP mode so I am wondering if that is the source of some of my problems.
I have had the device for about two months and generally Wi-Fi is working well but here are some of the problems I am encountering.
First, when the power goes out, the Wireless radios shut off so when it reboots after the blackout there is no Wifi. (the wireless radios are enabled). This has happened twice now so the radios may have come back if I had some other power outages but definitely didn't this morning after a power interruption last night.
Second, today I was in admin trying to fix things and the current date was Wednesday, 01 Jan 2003 00:13:27. Changing the timezone or rebooting the router does not correct the time. Anybody encounter this issue?
Three. In advanced wireless settings, "Turn off wireless signal by schedule" cannot be changed out. The checkmark is greyed out. I was able to change it before but not now.
Fourth, If I try to search for a router upgrade through the admin panel, it fails. It searches but never finds an upgrade or never stops searching by constantly refreshing the page. I wonder if this is because its in AP mode or something.
