I think I know the answer to this but I'm going to ask here anyway.
A couple of machines on my home network have VPN clients installed. My PBX is outside my home network and I would like to be able to pass CallerID info from it to a machine on my home network when the VPN client is on (it works flawlessly with VPN client disconnected).
I setup my router to port forward a connection from my fixed IP PBX to my internal machine. The internal machine is running OS X 10.10.1 with the latest Private Internet Access client. The server on my internal machine is fully accessible from clients within my internal network (with or without VPN being connected).
If I turn off the VPN on the machine, external connections from my PBX are accepted. As soon as I turn it on, nothing gets through.
Is it possible to have the VPN client ignore requests from a specific IP and let the local networking handle it? I'm not overly concerned about the security implications this might pose.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
