Is there such a piece of hardware and/or app as this ?

Hi all.

I work from home and do a lot of remote training. I have found that visual are extremely helpful, particularly where there is a language barrier.

While conducting in house use a dry erase board I got to thinking it would be great if there was some sort of table device where you can push an image to it and use a stylus pen or even if there was some sort of touch screen monitor with a stylus pen - I could use gotomeeting or google hangouts, share my screen and draw on it with the stylus, kind of like a telestrater.

Any advice/suggestions/recommendations ?

Many years ago at work, we had these.

However, I believe what you're looking for is called collaboration software. Google on that to find several. You might find something you can use.

I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

There are apps and PC applications that will mirror one device's screen on another. UltraVNC is one such program. Don't know if this will do exactly what you need but it's free.

HI all.

I need to unclutter my original point.

Sharing I know how to do; it is drawing on the screen I need to tackle now.

So if I understand correctly, you are looking for an app/device that will allow you to overlay what you are drawing onto the screen correct?

As an example, you could draw an arrow pointing to a button on your desktop, and then "erase" the arrow, or other things you have drawn.

Android rocks!

Microsoft Powerpoint in presentation mode? Right-click on the screen and you have a bunch of pointer options.

You can buy Smartboards that do this. I used to do training on them some years ago. Very cool.
