core 2 duo T6600 vs core 2 duo p7450

Trying to help a neighbour purchase a laptop. It's a Dell Studio 15 and comes with either a core 2 duo T6600 or core 2 duo p7450 processor for the same price. I've been looking, but can't find any comparisons. Specs are:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T6600 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo P7450 (2.13GHz/1066Mhz FSB/3MB cache)
Does anyone have an opinion of which would be better? They'll mostly be using it for general use and the odd multi-media (slideshow to HDTV, perhaps HD video cam, etc)

There is probably little difference in performance between the two. I would get the P7450 since it has lower power consumption and longer battery life as a result. The P7450 is also a newer design and has a faster external bus.

Thanks, ScaryBob. That's what she's going to do.
