Went out for a couple of hours, came back, and CN is back on ch. 284! Weird. But in this case, a good weird. I'll take it.

Oddly, Channel 284 is in my Rogers Guide, but when I look at my Zap2it, it's not in the available channels.

Slight channel realignment

Channel 490 Spike HD has been replaced with the NFL Network HD.
Channel 491 E! HD has been replaced with beIN Sports HD.
Channel 492 The Comedy Network (East) HD is now blank. Possibly for World Sports Television in late October.
Channel 493 Teletoon HD has been replaced with LEAFS TV HD.
Channel 499 LEAFS TV HD has been replaced with {FNTSY} HD.

Spike HD, E! HD, TCN HD and Teletoon HD still remain in the 200 range.

The question is will Rogers be keeping CN or not, it's still listed in the Guide as Teletoon Retro

Im almost sure that it won't be going anywhere. I actually think that the HD version will be coming on Friday on channel 284. Being a little optimistic, but maybe we will finally see CMT HD and Sundance HD as well?

Their is way more than that we need to see in HD. Rogers only seems to want to offer sports in HD and forget the other less important channels. Too many to name here, but their are other ways of getting them in HD.

Motorsports and cycling benefit greatly from HD. Cartoons, not so much.

I wouldn't count on it, they just don't seem interested in providing it in HD.

Having SD-only channels are like SO yesterday, why can't we get the Cartoon Network HD only feed instead?

I have seen a trend in Rogers doing SD/HD feeds on the same channel. So when Cartoon Network Canada HD will probably be on 284 when we eventually carry it.

I believe they are elimateing duplicate HD channels and AutoMap them in 200 range if you have HD terminal?
