Has anyone actually used their points? I was thinking the best bang for the buck is some Shopping Channel gift cards. I will use up my points (just under 5000) before the end of June.

I tested a few channels per the following link:

http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/37-r...ml#post2318729

I haven't found anything of interest since then, but I'll see if I can find something in the next few weeks. I have a reminder in my calendar so I don't forget to redeem.

I used my points for Shopping Channel gift cards. Got a cell phone and a Dr Ho machine. One caution: The gift cards come and go from the available list of rewards. If you are thinking about them, get them now. I just checked and they are currently available but may disappear without warning.

Rogers Employee. My posts should not be considered as coming from an authorized corporate source.

@snorlax , Thanks for the tip. I also got a couple of TSC gift cards and just used them for a couple of items. At least the rewards were not a total waste. I couldn't find anything else at Rogers that I wanted.

The other day when I tried to log into the reward section, I kept getting an error message. I did a brief chat with a CSR, but the "chat" locked up when the CSR asked for some additional information. At that point, I didn't want to waste any more time, so I just left it. The next day I could log in and ordered the gift cards. I'm not sure whether the incomplete chat helped or whether there was just a glitch on the previous day.

PS. I did the TSC order by phone and they let me use both cards on one order. My order had two items and this reduced the shipping since it was one shipment instead of two.

Is it just me or can you not look at the Rewards page anymore? My mother still has cable (but no computer) and wanted me to check the rewards page. Despite being logged into her account, any attempt to view the rewards page led to the "program closing" pop-up and a redirect back to the account page.

Antennas Direct C2V antenna pointed @ curved building NE. DB4e pointed SSE. Cable free since May 2011.

If you read post 79, you'll see that I was having an issue as well. When I was having the issue I read the FAQs regarding the rewards and noticed that rewards are removed if you haven't had any activity in a certain period of time - I believe it was 2 years - I was active during that time, so I chatted. If you've been active, give them a call or a chat.

I just recently got a $200 credit on my Rogers bill when redeeming 26,000 points.

Just a reminder that you have till the end of June to use your points before they expire.

MPORTANT REMINDER: The Rogers First Rewards™ program will soon be discontinued. You will continue to earn points until December 1, 2015. You can redeem your remaining points up to June 30, 2016, after which time they will expire. A minimum of 100 points are required to redeem, depending on what products you have. Your account must also be in good standing.
