Well I don't no anything about that.
But this TXT TV is boring. IO guess there's a market for it.

But I read that Shaw Direct will be adding YOPPA a french speacilty channel on Aprril 1st. I wonder if Rogers will added? I'm assuming Videotron will. I do believe there is another frebnch channel (French version of Food TV not sure of the name) suposely is to launch as well in April.

I'd love to see these at least on Rogers(ones that presently are available or have said and confirmed they will launch)hopefully on Rogewrs

AMC HD
MYSTRY HD(French)
YOPPA
FOOD TV(French)
Disney Playhouse

The french Food network is called Zeste, it launched on March 22nd, offered in SD and HD only on Vidéotron for now. Same owners of Canal Évasion.

Yoopa is property of TVA (aka Vidéotron), offered in SD and HD on Vidéotron and StarChoice.

By the way, Mystère is already available on Rogers channel 642 in SD, but not in HD.

A bunch of test channels (5 or so) went from "unable to tune" to "unauthorized" last week. I bet rogers has something going on.

I know Rogers had some test channels Test A thru Test Q some like that. at least last night here in Ottawa?
If your talking abiout test channels A thru Q they've been there for sometime when they added all those Sports pac HD & the superstation HD.

They have always been there for me, except about 5 or so went from like I said
"UNABLE TO TUNE" (no signal from the headend) to "UNAUTHORIZED" which most likely means Rogers is now sending a signal out on them.

According to this TV Guide article:
http://tvguide.ca/Watercooler/Nutsan...hannels_GD.htm

Rogers replaced Fireplace by "The Aquarium Channel", and launched "The Sunset Channel" and "The Cottage Channel" on April 8th. Are these really there? And what are their respective channel numbers (SD & HD) ?

Well at least not in Ottawa. I still have the Fireplace Channel(175 SD only HD is gone) both on the IPG & on ROD(SD only,HD doesn't work).

As for the others you mentioned

The Sunset Channel
The Cottage Channel
The Aquarium Channel

there not showing up in Ottawea, not sure about the rest of Rogers Ontario. Perhaps there in Rogers Atlantic, although I don't live there to comfirm if there there or not.

There not showing up on ROD either, the closest to anything like that might be on Ambience:

Ambience Lounge TV
VJ Showcase IV
Quotables
Zen
