When I briefly watched CFJP last night, it seems like it was just the V-HD feed cropped on each side to make a 4:3 picture. Even the V logo was cut in half!

As for RIS, I believe it's new to Rogers. Some people say that's it's been around, but I think they mean the channel itself, however, it's new to Rogers.

RIS...

****>>>> RIS? When did Rogers add this?

RIS was added to the Rogers lineup (in NB) approx. 2 weeks ago. I hope Rogers plan to keep this channel in their lineup once the Olympics are over... I have doubts that they just added it for the Olympics. RDS, RIS and V are the officials Olympics french tv broadcasters.

CFJP is the station callsign for V (formerly TQS).

CFJP is the Montreal V station. The "JP" stands for the original owner's (Jean Pouliot's) initials.

The Gatineau affiliate is CFGS, and it's what we get on digital 11 and 60x (I forgot where in the 600s it is).

In the Quick Start guide list of free preview channels, it lists V Montreal as being Free. We get TVA from Montreal as well.
Now, if they could just add Tele Quebec, it would be a complete set

Interesting? Depending on where yo are the "fre preview channels" may not be available to everyone? According to the Quick Guide V Montreal isn't available here in Ottawa even though its list in the QS.

Now grant you we get V from Gatneau - V SD & V HD so I gues is not a big thing. But interesting?

Question

It looks like Rogers has duplicated W Movies 326 W Movies New Spot. I figured that to fit in with other movie channels, but they still have it in old spot as well. I'm guess over time it'll be dropped fom that spot.

No idea. Last time I asked, the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about and was remarkably not helpful.

I have read in other forums that MovieTime HD could be launched tomorrow (March 11, 2010) on Rogers.
