Wireless keyboard and Mouse Suggestions

I am looking for info on wireless keyboards and mice that have great capabilities for 20-30ft. distances through walls. I guess this also is referred to as "no line of site requirement". I have looked at bluetooth and RF. The RF is more in my price range of $30-50. I have looked at Gyration.. looks awesome.. too expensive.. I have found many other products, some providing "range" for thier products, but none stating they would work through obstructions.

I have the Logitech EX110 and it does not do it for me.

My goal is to run some cables to access my media without using media extenders.. I have small distances to go through my apartment and don't really want to spend the money on extenders. I was hoping for anyone who could comment on thier equipment that would satisfy my needs or suggest an alternative.

Many thanks..

Thanks for any advice.

I just bought the Logitech MX3200 combo from Futureshop in their Boxing Week sale for $60.

The range is good and I am able to type and move the mouse with a wall in between about 10ft away.

Another way to deal with the issue is to extend your receiver to a better spot and USBs are fairly easy to hide.

Bluetooth would be the most ideal and Dell has a combo that goes on sale somewhat regularly.

I use both the Logitech MX3200 and MX5500 (Bluetooth)... The MX5500 beats the MX3200 hands down when it comes to range (and features). With the MX5500, you can control the PC (or laptop) attached to it through walls or at ranges maybe even beyond 30 feet.

I actually use my MX5500 to control the playback of Media Player on the PC inside the house while I ride my trainer in the garage. The signal goes from the garage through the insulated wall to my den. I ran wires from the den to the garage to a secondary pair of speakers... hopefully a bluetooth enabled speaker will be released soon.

Two Mice?

So it appears that bluetooth would be the way to go for sure.

Is it possible to have two keyboards and two mice hooked up to one machine. Possibly I could just buy a bluetooth mouse for the adjacent room and keep the current RF keyboard and mouse in the computer room?

Thanks for the examples...

I don't know if it's going to help you out, or if you already read it, but there was a discussion about that just a couple days/weeks ago:
