Meeting with folks from Nero: Any Questions?

In early June some executives from Nero in California will be in Toronto and I will be meeting with them.

If you have any questions that you'd like answered, post them here and I'll see if I can get some answers.

(FYI: Questions should be more general questions surrounding the company's products or future direction and not tech support questions.)

Well, I have one question.

My issue: I use Nero Recode and have issues with AAC audio (specifically 5.1 audio) because certain V2 extender/media player devices on the market today don't appear to support the format.

My Hope: Nero will consider an "option" to save the audio component in a different format that is natively supported on V2 extenders, etc.

I hope this post makes sense, otherwise, ignore it.

Not really a question but more of a comment/suggestion. In the last 2 releases (ver 7 and 8), Nero has really become more and more bloated. Not just bloated in the sense that the application has been afflicted by featuritis but also the user gets the feeling that the Nero suit is nothing but a mish mash of disjointed applications, many, IMO which are seldom useful.

In my case I just want to burn a DVD or CD from files, or from an iso image. I do not need half a dozen or so features that I don't use such as printing CD/DVD covers, composing DVD movies, encoding video, etc. For doing the latter functions, there are much more useful standalone apps than those included in the Nero suite.

I realize you can select which application you need during install but even this has become confusing.
