Movie Library Sotfware

I am looking for a product like MyMovies that will library my movies for my htpc but something that will work on just windows xp with either media player or a third party viewer. I have MCE2005 but have not been having much good luck getting it to work with the majority of my rips. I have also decided to start pushing towards Xvid for the file size reasons.

Anyone know of any good products that offers something like mymovies? I like the product but disappointed its limited to mce2005.

thanks

I know this doesn't answer your question but I posted a while back and have received some helpful replies about what codecs to use along with mymovies that will hopefully play all within mce. The post is New HTPC.

Hope that helps a little...good luck.

There is Beyond Media w/ the dvd library download but that costs money. I would also like to know if anyone knows anything that would play with PowerDVD for XP.

Hey Q,

try the following. http://www.team-mediaportal.com/ seems to work well for far and doesn't require mce but has a similar look and feel.
