HTPC 16:9 - WinTVPVR 150 - Expressvu 6100

Hi,

I have a HTPC being fed a svideo signal from a Expressvu 6100 HD Receiver to Hauppage PVR 150 capture card. All my recorded channels seem to be displayed at 4:3.(cropping the sides on HD channels) I'm not looking to get true HD quality recording but if I can at least record in 16:9 that would be acceptable. Any ideas? Is it the capture card or the svideo feed from the Expressvu box?

Thanks

I've done something similar in the past, so yes its possible to get 16:9 480i from a BEV 6100. Put this term into the DHC Search tool and you'll get lots of hits with good info: "6100 record s-video" (make sure to put the hyphen in s-video).
