Latest NVidia vs. ATI video comparison

Looks like Toms took down their earlier review to rework it.

In a nutshell, NVidia wins so long as you use at least a 7600GT.

At another site, the victory went to NVidia under MythTV as well.

It needs to be noted that the race is still tight and that ATI provides ALL of the features that it provides in all of the X1000 series cards. However, with the prices on 7600GTs coming down all the time, this is quickly becoming a non-issue.

Yes I would give Nvidia the edge right now also.

In reading about people trying to get the lasted PowerDVD Ultra to would, far more people have has success with Nvidia's 7600 or grater cards.

ATI cards seem to be more problematic.
