Apart from 4K, the other thing (as I found out very recently) you need to worry about with all (as far as I know) Android TV boxes, is Netflix HD support. Apparently Netflix only streams in full HD (and 4K) to *supported* devices, which includes some smart TVs (look for "Netflix Recommended"), Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, ChromeCast, Nvidia Shield, Nexus Player, LG.

As far as I know, *all* Android TV boxes will only stream 480p (DVD quality); same with watching Netflix on your phone or tablet (except maybe ones made by google). So0, something to keep in mind when selecting your device.
