WDTV live 4th vs 3rd gen ?

I have both 1st and 3rd gen of this and quite satisfied. Planning to get a new one to replace the 1st gen. Now they have 4th gen out there. Have checked online the differences between 3rd and 4th. The only thing I saw is the huge complain of no Netflix. Do not really understand what other new features in this new unit. I currently only streaming videos and music with these 2 units (shame to say I have not explored other features). No Netflix but may be in someday. Now my question is should I go ahead to get this new one, or get a refurbished 3rd gen unit. Thanks.

I find the Netflix client on my 3rd gen to be pretty horrible and never gets updated - really amateurish. Trust me, WD not providing a Netflix client next time around will be by design.

WD did an update not too long ago allowing for profiles, but it does seem to have a memory leak requiring a complete reboot from time to time. If you don't care about Netflix, go for the 4th.

I don't mind Netflix on my 3rd gen. Frankly Netflix is pretty amateurish regardless of the device.

The Netflix app is not created or updated by WD. Any changes to the UI are by Netflix themselves.
