Power up from keybord or mouse with Win7 OS

I thought I had read how to do this before, but now can't seem to find the thread.
Can anyone please advise me as to how I can power on my HTPC from my keyboard or mouse.
Thanks in advance.
DC.

Just put the PC into sleep mode. The PC must be capable of S3 sleep. Then the keyboard or mouse will wake it up. If nuisance wakes occur, disable wake for the problem device up in Device Manager. That's sometimes needed for the mouse since minor movements can trigger it.
