WMC and Xbox 360 media remote

Does anyone know of a way to access the main WMC menu from the new Xbox 360 media remote? I can get the guide, mini-guide and program info but not the main menu (to access recorded programs).

Just keep hitting the back button..

There may be a faster way, but that is what I do.

Is there no green button on the remote?

When WMC first starts I get the main menu and can choose "Recorded TV", "Guide", "Movies", "Tasks" etc. Once I've selected "Guide" pressing the back button takes me to watching live TV. Pressing the back button again does nothing. The Yellow button doubles as a Guide button. The blue and green buttons are just channel up and down buttons.

I've never used an Xbox with WMC, but I looked at a pic of the media remote. It looks like there is a Windows button under the Mute button - does that go to the WMC menu?

If not, try pressing the Back button several times.

It's the new, black remote. Do you suppose they forgot something? http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/...CAEN_GooglePLA

Since it seems that Microsoft is giving up on WMC it stands to reason they'd stop putting the green button on their remotes.

Plenty of better remotes out there.

Makes sense I guess. Frustrating, though.
