As a show that has such beautiful scenery, it's a shame that its not HD. Its the only non-HD show my wife have watched in the last several years.

I'm still upset that Amanda got eliminated in the previous leg and didn't get a chance to participate in the marathon(g)!

Amazing Race is still one of the few shows I make sure I watch on the same night it aired. I agree with Hugh in that there are no major jerks to cheer against. I think the couple that went out the first week was the real bickering team. I also get the feeling that the bro/sis lawyers aren't fighting as much as the producers expected.

Anyways, a decent year, although Amanda and Chris got totally hosed . I also thought that the running in their underwear thing was a little bit beneath the dignity of this fine show. Usually CBS leaves the totally-gratuitous-women-in-underwear type stuff to Survivor!

Me too. The bro/sis team is a little too smug.

In some ways I can't blame Victor.....it is a $1M prize after all, but I just don't really care for him or his attitude. I laughed pretty hard on the mountain trek he took his sister on when looking for the coffins a couple episodes ago though.

I wasn't "shocked" by the underwear job, and thought the "I don't wear any" comment was funny, but it didn't seem very "extreme" for us Canucks.....Only -4C, I'd be tempted to run around in my undies too

I've watched every season of TAR and every season I keep telling myself "Surely, the next season will be in HD!" and then we get nothing.

I do like the new title graphics (with updated theme song that they surprisingly didn't destroy -- TV show creators seem to have a passion for fixing things that aren't broken) and the side-by-side shots during scene transitions. But I still have to ask, why, WHY they didn't take this opportunity to go hi-def since they updated the in-game graphics etc. Oh well.

I will say, though, that the 5.1 sound this season sounds A LOT different than past seasons' did. This season the music and SFX actually make good natural use of the rear channels with proper sound discretion, while past seasons tended to over-use the rears and it didn't blend in properly (that and the racers' voices would come out of all speakers for no apparent reason).

I was a little disappointed that the last stage wasn't very challenging. I did enjoy the "scenery" but driving a plow and running around in your underwear was by far the least challenging episode of the season. IMO.

I thought that this season the first few stages were very challenging (carrying the 50 pounds of cheese down the hill comes to mind), so maybe they decided to give them a break in the freezing weather of Siberia.

For those of you recording on CBS, remember March Madness will delay most starts by 30-60 minutes.

Yes, I just went to watch my PVR recording, and got about 45 min of 60 Min. Set it to record on the late CTV feed...

Decent episode last night with some touching moments. The attempt to make it look like the blondes were ahead of the stuntmen was kind of lame but that is TAR.

I thought the challenges were kind of boring last night. Hauling water and feed is boring and shaking was lame. I like challenges that require more ingenuity and less labour.

I really can't stand Tammy and Victor and hope they screw up soon! Personally I want Mom and Son or Cheerleaders to win. Cheerleaders looked very cute in pink!

I have no favourite team, perhaps the stuntmen. They seem to be having a good time.

The Bro/Sis team are annoying and have been from early in the season.

Did anyone else notice a big Swastika shaved in the the side of a camel? I'm suprised they didn't edit that out.
