CBS Sundays - The Unit

has anyone experienced a problem trying to pvr the above show on Sundays at 10pm the last 2 weeks (premiere was 2 weeks ago)?

Schedule and adverstising on CBS shows 10pm eastern but Rogers is showing Cold Case at that time even though Cold Case is listed at 9pm??

The NFL game went longer than scheduled in the afternoon. 60 Minutes, Amazing Race, Cold Case, and The Unit were all delayed on CBS (East) by about 30 minutes last night. You should adjust your PVR to accommodate NFL games which tend to go over schedule on Sunday night. I would recommend recording from CBS (West) if you can.

well thats a bummer esp considering I watch most of those NFL games.....crap, not sure how we get those 2 weeks back....thanks for the info....other than looking for CBS west, is there another way to set up the pvr to compensate for such delays?

Sorry, no other options. No Canadian network broadcasts the show, it's only available on CBS.

a. PVR the CBS (East) and pad the end-time by an hour.
b. PVR the CBS (West) feed.

Good news NickL. You can turn the clock back 2 weeks.

I just checked and it looks like NTV (CJON) is starting The Unit at episode 1 tonight at 3 am Newfie time.

If you don't get that channel you could try:
1. CBS.COM (didn't work for me - they might be blocking non-U.S. IP addreses)
2. Torrent
3. Usenet

I was home last week and caught it in time. I checked it last night and it was running 1/2 hour late. "The Unit" timeslot was the last 1/2 of "Cold Case" and the 1st 1/2 of "The Unit".

I usually PVR everything and skip the ads. I think I'll switch these to the western feed or watch them "live" from the buffer.

Welcome to Sunday nights!

If you have east and west coast feeds you should do all your series recordings for the west cost showings. This will lower the likelihood of a football game ruining your day.

You didn't miss to much anyways as the show is having fun making the wives into spies which is irritating the hell out of me.

Me too, but apparently the women watchers (at least my wife) is happy with the change. I like the original seasons(s) better, basically just the action and a few home scenes. The whole plot line with Mac and his wife fooling around I find completely boring and wish they'd resolve/drop it.
