I agree, very worthwhile. The NHK crew did a great job and Mark Tewksbury's narrative was good.

I found that the second one on the runner dragged a bit and contained more repetition. Perhaps it was simply because the format was so similar. Still worthwhile, just not as good as the first one I thought.

Watch this space?

My guess is they'd market the series, not one programme. If you want just the one programme, record it to a DVD recorder, or get a friend to (assuming this is for personal use)

The one on high jumping was again fascinating. The man with the innate ability vs the man who trains for nothing else despite his size.

It was a real eye-opener to see the "photoshopped" picture of the 2.4 m height that was jumped, when juxtaposed against real life - walking down the street or in an office. Unbelievable!

Ok, so when is this actually being broadcast.

I've set my PVR now to catch "ALL" and while I've recorded "Miracle Bodies" SIX times now (so says the program guide and the recording list), I've seen just about every other show on DiscoveryHD, EXCEPT Miracle Bodies.

West Coast BEV - supposed to be on tonight (Wednesday) at 9pm PDT; instead, I got some diddy on Catherine the Great.

From the Discovery HD site:

http://www.discoveryhd.ca/schedule/tvList.aspx

You may have missed it this go around. As always, Discovery will likely air it again soon.

Edit: I just checked and the Rogers IPG shows it's supposed to be on now (12AM and again 9AM), but it's not - the Discovery link shows the correct information - Catherine the Great. This has happened to me in the past on Discovery, but not much lately.
