If you had Bell you would be able to get CityTV HD. But except for BSG, the channel is nothing to write home about.

Please post about "legal" and "downloading" issues elsewhere. This thread is for discussion of the show.

Thanks

OK to get back on topic, I've found season 4 way more interesting than previous seasons. Maybe it was due to watching all 10 episodes over 3 days. Episode 10 is a real fingernail biter and cliff hanger, can't wait for the next half of the season!

Battlestar Galactica 2 hour special

Little bit of news on Battlestar Galactica:
http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/event/specialevent.pdf

Quote:
August 7, 2008 - SCI FI Channel today announced an all-new Battlestar Galactica special event, set to
air in 2009 following the conclusion of the series and then released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment
shortly thereafter.
.....
Starting before the events of the miniseries, our story focuses on familiar characters including Cylon Number One, known
as Cavil (Stockwell), Resistance Leader Sam T. Anders (Trucco) and Chief Galen Tyrol (Douglas). In the beginning, the
Cylons had a plan, but it didn't account for one thing: survivors. During the chaotic aftermath of the destruction, two
powerful Cylon agents struggle with plots and priorities on the human ships that got away, and among the resistance
fighters who were left behind.
...
The final 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica will begin airing on SCI FI Channel in 2009.

Are any other CTV stations airing the older episodes other than CTV's Space?

Anyone know if the first half of season 4 will be rebroadcast? I missed those, and would like to see them first.

Also airs 5 pm ET the same day. There's also a 5 AM ET broadcast most days, but they started last Friday with Season 2.

Space will be having a BSG marathon special on Jan 16th starting at 10:00 AM ET, with S4 E11 (Premiere of second half of Season 4B) to be shown at 10:00 PM ET.

There is currently a 10-part webisode, "THE FACE OF THE ENEMY", available here:
http://www.spacecast.com/bsg/webisodes.asp
They will also be shown at 9:00 PM ET prior to the Season 4B premiere.

Frak 'Em All !

(on a side note... Mods, why is this thread not in the Specialty and Movie Channels forum, as the current season is only available on Space?)

I was going to ask if any other channels would be carrying season 4.5, but the above kind of answers my question...

It would be much nicer to watch in HD. This is one show that looks very nice when it fills a widescreen TV without using a zoom function!
