I actually thought the "Imagine" song was one of the weakest of the night. I was surprised the judges liked it.

Agree with you Cap, I love Lennon, but most people who cover his work do a piss-poor job. But that kid's version of Imagine was fantastic. My wife was so moved by it that she actually started crying (not Paula Abdul blubbering). But then again, my lovely wife cries at the end of every episode of Ghost Whisperer, so...

But really, that rendition of Imagine was incredible.

Have to say I loved that version of Imagine. It was better than the original IMHO!

I don't know who came up with that arrangement using the accoustic guitar, but it was a masterstroke. If Archuleta came up with that idea himself then he should forget about Idol and sign with a record company right now.

I haven't watched yet, but I'm definitely intrigued by this version of Imagine. I'm not sure how many have heard (or enjoyed) the version that A Perfect Circle had done but I thought it was great.

Apparently Archuleta copied this arrangement from a version Eva Cassidy recorded. He has performed it before at age 13 on a Utah TV station show.

I'd say the rocker chick is gone tonight. I'm hoping Noriega as well.

God, let's hope so. I'm surprised she was even invited to Hollywood. She has no personality.

Good one! She does have the Munster look....

My favorites right now are Shyesha (sp?) and the girl that looks like Carly Simons.

The first woman who performed last night was the best.

According to TMZ the Rocker chick has a DUI.

The rocker with the fake hair goes home. Not a bad decision. Too bad the DUI nurse is still here.
