In HD: Chuck

I thought it plays Mondays at 8/7c. I missed it just now but I thought I could catch it on west coast time shifting, but I wasn't able to see it.

Then I went looked at the WGRZ's programming for tonight and they were showing Deal or No Deal since 8...?

So there's no Chuck tonight?

It's a victim of the writer's strike. Last week's episode was the last new one.

Well, not only that, but since November sweeps is over, we weren't going to get any new episodes of Chuck, regardless of the strike, until February sweeps.

If the strike is prolonged, and all accounts it will be, then it's doubtful we'll even see new episodes in February.

At the end of all of the last episodes so far they have said something to the effect of:

"Watch for new episodes of <insert name here> in 2008."

I thought it was very telling that they didn't commit to a specific month.

Don't give up hope. According to Entertainment Weekly, there is still one episode of Chuck that is still in the can, ready to air, but we don't know if NBC plans on holding onto it until February sweeps, or will show it in the meantime. Only thing to do is to check the TV listings to see if the coming week's episode will be new or not. Next week's episode is a repeat of the Pilot episode.

A new episode of CHUCK is airing Monday night, February 2nd. And it's in 3-D. Apparently free glasses are available in the U.S. but not up here. Any ideas on where to snag 3-D glasses in Canada? Does anyone understand this technology? I'm assuming you can still watch without the glasses. I've only seen 3-D movies at Disney World and if you don't have glasses everything appears doubled. Maybe I'll head down to my local Buy More and see if they have any!!

NBC.com gives this phone number to call to have the 3D glasses sent by mail:

1-800-646-2904

I tried it but they're currently closed, they open at 7 AM CST 7 days a week. Someone should call and see if they'll deliver to Canada. Or has someone already?

If you need a pair of 3d glasses you could always buy Journey to the Center of the Earth on bluray disc that is in 3d and get 4 pair in there.I know it's not a cheap solution but it would be a quick one.Or you could always ren it for a day or two.

i bought a couple pairs on ebay for 99 cents. If they don't get here on time I will pvr it and watch it when they arrive. As to Journey to the Center of the Earth, I believe it uses different glasses than this show.

I didn't realize there were different types of 3D glasses. I've read some sites on how to make them, and I wonder if the color filters in my DVD Essentials will do the trick.

What kind of 3d glasses is needed for the show? Is there any way to source one locally?
