I agree.
For me it ended after season 4.
Seasons 5 and 6 have been very disappointing.

That theme song sure has held up nicely though. I still like it.

My guess re: Tony's gambling problem:
Tony losing his handle on Chris was mirrored by losing his handle on gambling. Both flared up at the same time, and both went "away" at the same time. Last episode, after the roulette win streak, Tony even commented that his luck had totally changed now that Chris is gone. Besides that symbolism, the gambling also served as a plot device to generate animosity between Tony and Hech. With that in mind, I'd be surprised if Tony's gambling played a role in future episodes. It served its "purpose". Plus, they have enough storylines to tie up.

I'm still curious to see what Tony "gets" (his proclamation at the end...). Is he bringing the family into the business? Is he refocused on smelling the roses?

I'd agree it's not the same, but The Sopranos set the bar really high. I thought the last episode was pretty good, and I'm looking forward to see what Tony does next.

Agreed on the theme song.

I should have included a link or explanation or something. Since I was commenting on some plot points...fairly specifically...I used the spoiler tag to minimize the chances of accidental viewing. If you haven't seen recent episodes, avoid "blue boxes"...but keep recycling.

My long shot guess....Tony makes a deal with the Feds, and rats out the whole lot.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too.....he leverages that info he gave the Feds about the two muslim dudes into some kind of witness-protection program for him and his famiglia.....

Right after he clips Phil Leotardo.

I think that AJ will grab some of his father's guns and kill everyone.

Of course, I'm still waiting for Meadow to become a dancer!

Two. But there isn't one this upcoming weekend due to the US memorial day long weekend. So June 3rd, then the very last one on June 10th.

I wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for all the loose ends to magically tie up.
My gut feeling on this is that we will be left will lots of unanswered questions and unresolved plot lines.
