You're welcome BajoFuego.

I'm using component so it can't be blamed on HDMI.

Aside, my post above (#13) said 5 times/hr but that should've said 25 times/hr.

I've noticed the dots this week for the first time. Don't remember if it was only Fox or other stations as well. Will pay closer attention next time.

I also noticed the dots first time, it was in Fox. They come and go very quickly. And they seem to batches. Does not bother me a lot, it is just flashing.

Yes, it's definitely NOT an HDMI issue, because with an HDPVR you can pause the show and clearly see that the dots are in the recording and are not simply a glitch between the box and the TV.

I actually noticed no dots whatsoever on the 2-hour season finale of 24, so maybe things have been fixed? It could also possibly be a weather or signal issue of Rogers getting the signal from the source, which would explain why some nights are worse than others.

In any case, hopefully this will be permanently fixed by next Fall.
