Well, we all have different opions on this matter but lots of folks, myself included, feel the show went downhill after the first 2 or 3 seasons.

As David St. Hubbins said in This is Spinal Tap It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Just watched Sopranos. All I can say is WHAT?????????? First the show is moving so slow many of us are falling asleep and now it is moving so fast that one has difficulty following it! Some of the characters weren't regulars in the show in the past and I just hate the way they just "appear".

Like where did the hit men come from? Who did they kill?

Is Artie with a new woman? She doesn't look like the last season's actress.

When did Tony put the foreign girl in as a hostess at Artie's? Artie mentioned that he was doing that as a favor to Tony.

How come Christopher is so cocky now? And who is that thug with him?

Questions. Really messed up show.

Did you watch the previous episode? The beginning and the wedding scene with Johnny and Tony explain all.

Nope.

Again all discussed in episode 2 or 3 when they had the movie meeting.

I liked last nights show.

My favourite line to benny "You don't $hit where you eat and you especially don't $hit were I eat!"

The martina line was good and I'm glad benny doused him.

Now that had to hurt...I also think last nights episode rocked...

T even offered Artie his Psychologists name if he wanted it...if he keeps up his demeanor...even Tony won't be able to protect him...

On the other hand...I had to wonder if the writers were sending us a message...when Tony told Artie that he'd be coming to his establishment...until he falls over in there...

I wonder if Tony will be shot...or have a heart attack in the resturant...gawd knows all the cholesterol from the amount of pasta he consumes...has to clogging up some arteries...

I just about fell of the couch when Lauren Bacall got mugged and yelled "my f---ing arm!"

Yeah the guest appearance by Ben Kingsley and Lauren Bacall was well done especially stealing the SWAG.

DO you think someone would be stupid enought to use the Australia tickets?

Well Tony's mother used the stolen airline tickets before she died so why wouldn't they use these tickets as well?

I think Artie will stay in the kitchen from now on. That's where the chef belongs, not on the floor. He has been riding the free ticket for too long...either he shapes up or he'll end up with Pussy in the middle of the ocean...

I wonder if HBO is sending a message here? You'll remember Chris' comment about all those free gifts going to those who need it the least and even Ben Kinglsley agreeing with Chris. I interpreted the Hollywood scenes as a criticism of the entire movie industry/lifestyle.

This would also extend to the modelling industry. I've seen two seperate interviews with Supermodels who were asked besides the obscene sums of money they are paid for photoshoots and endorsments what was the thing they most liked about their jobs. One replied that she and her entourage never ever had to wait in line to get into a popular and exclusive club and were whisked right by the huge lineups clammering to get in. The other said that she never had to pay for a lavish meal and drinks at very trendy restaurants.
Just like Christopher indicated, these people are the ones that can most afford it and the regular working stiffs like you and I, have to pay through the nose!
