This thread will discuss the schedule updates for the Global TV broadcast network from Corus for the 2019-20 broadcast year.

I post schedule updates, series premieres and specials based on press releases as well as series renewals and cancellations as they are announced. I don't usually post on-going episode information, repeats, program descriptions or "PR-speak," so if you want more info, you can click on the associated link.

I haven't seen daytime schedules available to the public, but I'm sure the ad reps have the master planners for each city. Tamron Hall will premiere Sept. 9 and will probably replace Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on most Global city schedules, since no other new programs have been announced. Tamron Hall is syndicated in the U.S., which means the program is carried by individual stations, not by a single network and can be scheduled at various times. Global may tweak a city's schedule to best match the local U.S. daytime schedules.

Last year Global shuffled 2 simsubs in order to air the awards live.

----

A.P. Bio will get a third season on NBCUniversal’s upcoming streaming service, after having been cancelled by NBC. Global held the Canadian rights for the first 2 seasons, but put it at the bottom of the priority list when it came to scheduling, so it's hard to say if they will pick up the third season for filler.

Global will air the first episode of Schooled Season 2 in place of ABC's Modern Family rerun on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 9 PM ET. If you're interested in watching the series on Global TV instead of ABC or streaming it from Global, you'll just have to keep your eyes open for it to pop up at random times.

----

Here is Global's Monday, Oct. 21 Election night programming for Toronto:

7:00 Prodigal Son
8:00 9-1-1
9:00 Global News: Decision Canada (Live across Canada)
1:00 AM The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

2:32 AM The Neighborhood

Check your local listings - each time zone will be different.

Decision Canada will air live from 7 p.m. ET on select Global television and radio affiliates – Global Halifax/New Brunswick, Global Durham, Global Peterborough, Global Kingston and 980 CKNW – and nationally from 9 p.m. ET across all Global-affiliated television and radio stations. A full breakdown of election night results will air from 6 a.m. local time the next morning on Global News Morning broadcasts across the country. (Press Release)

----

Update from Global's show pages:
The final season of the Will & Grace revival premieres on Thursday, October 24, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Global. (s-NBC)
Carol’s Second Act NEW EPISODES AVAILABLE FRIDAYS (no regular air-time listed, but the schedule still shows it on October 24, at 9:30.)
NBC will release the remaining episodes of Sunnyside weekly on their digital platforms in the U.S. and the remaining episodes should be available on VOD and streaming though Global.

#24 ·
Global changed their minds about the surprise premiere of Will & Grace. The show page now says it airs at Thursday, October 24, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. That bumps Superstore off the schedule - its show page has been changed to "DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE | NEW EPISODES AVAILABLE FRIDAYS." Carol’s Second Act remains at 9:30.

However, on Halloween, CBS will air reruns, so Global will simsub Will & Grace at 9:30 instead of a Carol’s Second Act rerun, making room for a simsub of Superstore at 8 PM (episode "Trick-or-Treat".)
