Having Chicago PD on Global was a minor disaster for crossovers when they aired the same time on both networks. It messed up anyone without a PVR. I wouldn't be surprised if City or Global picked up Chicago Fire and Chicago Med before September. Most of their programming is CTV rejects as it is. City has some obvious spots to air them.

I overlooked the following info from the press release that includes midseason shows.

Proven hits and fan favourites return as Citytv confirms the renewal of 16 prime-time series. Returning series are Citytv’s #1 show America’s Got Talent, his-and-hers The Bachelor / The Bachelorette franchise, Canadian mob thriller and Citytv original Bad Blood, Black-ish, Bob’s Burgers, fan favourite Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dancing with the Stars, Family Guy, Hell’s Kitchen, Hockey Night in Canada, Lethal Weapon, Life in Pieces, Modern Family, Mom, and last year’s breakout comedy hit The Orville.

I noticed The Blacklist is missing from the Citytv midseason list.

The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco is from Britbox and The Twilight Zone reboot is being developed by CBS All Access.

The "Citytv Now" branding makes sense, but I noticed that upfront press release was all "Citytv" and the newswire version even incuded the Citytv logo.

Here's the Citytv fall preview with the prime-time schedule in grid format. The branding there is all "City".

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS returning January 2019 (no date specified, but the new time on ABC is Thursday at 9 PM starting January 17)

#18 · (Edited)
Since the season premiere of The Bachelor on Monday January 7 will run for 3 hours, City TV will schedule Manifest before or after, depending on the city. (one-time only)

A Million Little Things will return to City TV on Wednesday, January 16 at 10 PM ET, one day before ABC.

City TV moved A Million Little Things to Thursdays at 10 PM ET (post-ABC 9 PM) starting tonight.

The World's Best will premiere after the Super Bowl at approximately 10 PM ET on Sunday, Feb. 3. CBS will show it at 7 PM PT, so we'll see if City does the same. CBS' regular time slot is Wednesdays starting Feb. 6, so City may have to do some juggling.

EDIT: City will simsub the special two-hour The World's Best at 8 PM ET on Feb. 6, followed by 2 episodes of syndicated Mom.

CBS will air The World's Best at 8 PM ET on Feb. 13, before it moves to the regular 9 PM slot on Feb. 20. (Source) City will have a full slate of new episodes for the 13, so we'll have to see what gets priority.

Fox will air a two-hour season finale of Hell's Kitchen on Friday, Feb. 8. I don't have confirmation of City's schedule for that date, but the simsub shouldn't be a problem.

I forgot to mention that City seems to be shelving episodes of The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy from Feb. 10. I don't see any plans to air the preempted episodes in the next 2 weeks.

This looks like the new schedule for Wednesdays beginning Feb. 13. (Toronto)

7:00 blackish (post-ABC Tue.) 10:00 CT Winnipeg
7:30 The Cool Kids (pre-FOX Fri.) 10:30 CT Winnipeg
8:00 The World's Best (s-CBS) Moves to 9:00 on CBS on Feb. 20, but stays at 8:00 on City
9:00 Modern Family (s-ABC)
9:30 Single Parents (s-ABC)
10:00 Mom
10:30 Mom

EDIT: The episode of blackish that was scheduled for this week has been preempted by Tuesday's State of the Union as mentioned in other threads.

EDIT: Citytv will continue to simsub the one-hour episode of The World's Best on Wednesday, March 6 at 8:00, with Modern Family and Single Parents at 8:00 in pre-release. They will also simsub The World's Best on a special day, Thursday, February 28 at 8:00 ET, pushing Brooklyn Nine-Nine to 7:30 ET (10:30 CT in Winnipeg.) There isn't an episode of Mom on CBS that day.

Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul special Sunday, March 10 at 8:00 PM (s-CBS)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine will simsub NBC for one time only on Thursday, March 14 at 9 PM ET since there is no episode of The Orville that day.

black-ish will air a new episode on Citytv Tuesday March 19th, 8:30pm EDT. (pre-ABC 9:00) The series is scheduled in the same time-slot for the next 2 Tuesdays without an episode description, so new episodes will probably air there as well.

The BUBLÉ special will air on Citytv Wednesday at 10pm ET, simulcast with CTV2 and NBC.

Citytv's originals Hudson & Rex and The Murders will air several repeats following their premieres. (check your local schedule)

THE TWILIGHT ZONE - 2-hour premiere event | Thursday April 4 9/8c. CBS All Access will release the first 2 episodes on April 1 with 1 new episode each Thursday starting April 11. Citytv will probably air the subsequent new episodes on Fridays.
