Songland looks like a ripoff of The Launch, honestly.

NBC is shifting two of its Tuesday series by moving The Village to 8 p.m. and The Voice to 9 p.m. from April 23 until the finales on May 21. The new season of America’s Got Talent premieres on Tuesday, May 28 (8-10 p.m.) followed by the series premiere of Songland (10-11 p.m.). (Source) CTV carries The Village and The Voice on Tuesdays, so it will be easy to make the same change.

This Is Us has been renewed by NBC for the next three seasons. (Press Release) The renewal was never in doubt - the last minute news was due to negotiations on the very rare 3-year renewal.

----

The future of NBC’s Abby’s, A.P. Bio, The Enemy Within and The Village is “still under discussion” but NBC refused to hand out formal cancellations to the shows after they did not make the network's 2019/2020 schedule. Officially, no decision had been made on the shows, although sources suggest that it is unlikely that they will return to the network. Telegdy said, “Anything that’s still on air is still under discussion, so no cancellations.” (Deadline) Translation: no cancellations, yet.

I dropped Blindspot after the first 10 episodes. It just seemed too paranoiac for me to enjoy with everyone seeming to be looking over their metaphoric shoulder continuously. Has it changed? Should I give it another chance?
