BBCCanada is AWFUL about cutting shows! They put a BBC show in 60 mins w/commercials. We gave up watching Death in Paradise on BBCC and waited for it on PBS b'cuz we couldn't follow it on BBCC b'cuz of everything they cut out!

I have WPIX ( CW) as one of my 10 for 20$ channels with my skinny basic.
Just did a search but there's no Father Brown showing.

@bluedrongo You're getting 2 different conversations confused.

Father Brown season 6 begins this Sunday on BBC Canada.
Black Lightning is on CW - KTLA and WPIX.

@Bayguy sorry I can't take the credit. I had it in the back of my mind once the UK discussions started, but never got around to it. Thanks to @57 for reading my mind.

So true! Plus they're part of the Bell 'Best' package, which I just don't think is worth it (Sliver Screen Classics? Really).

I'll wait for PBS.

I wish BBC Canada would play new shows, I like Graham Norton, his humour is directed at todays events, and I can't find a channel that has todays show, BBC Canada has shows two years old, it's humour is still directed at Obamma, and events two years ago. Why can't that channel show current shows? Is there any other cable channel that would carry todays Graham Norton show? I did look up BBC America (which isn't available here), and it lists the present show, not a two year old show.

The first and only season of Damnation will be available on Netflix Canada on Feb. 1. USA Network has decided not to renew the series.

What's coming to Netflix Canada, CraveTV in February 2018

So has anyone figured out who has the rights to the Paramount Network show Waco? They keep advertising it during COPS, but of course much like Spike, we have a "Canadianized" version of Paramount without Waco apparently.

After a quick Google search. You can ask on their Facebook page.

There don't seem to be any responses from Paramount on Facebook despite several questions and complaints about Waco not being shown in Canada.

Viacom, the owner of Paramount, told cartt.ca when the series premiered that it would shown in Canada "at some point." That doesn't make a lot of sense unless another Canadian channel or Netflix has picked up the second window rights that would allow them to show the series after it completed airing on Paramount.

Hi FYI I just saw an ad on HBO (Canada) about a show called Rellik coming April 13. I found this about it:

Rellik (TV Mini-Series 2017? ) - IMDb

It's from England.

Death In Paradise

I'm spoiled for HD programming on my 65" set. It is painful to watch BBC Canada in SD. When I saw that PBS Detroit HD runs "Death In Paradise", I quickly put BBC Canada on the bench.

I didn't realize that BBC Canada deleted program material to fit in commercials. Naughty Naughty!
