Family Jr. and Télémagino will be introduced to Canadian households this morning.

Brand new episodes of the following series debut on Family Jr. tomorrow and Sunday: Thomas & Friends, Strawberry Shortcake, Twirlywoos, Curious George, The Save-Ums!, Topsy and Tim, Julius Jr., Yo Gabba Gabba!, Sarah & Duck and Kate & Mim-Mim. On Télémagino, fans can expect new episodes of Thomas & Friends, Franny's Feet, The Save-Ums! and Bananas in Pyjamas. Popular titles including Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Sheriff Callie's Wild West and Henry Hugglemonster also remain part of the lineup through the fall.

Keeping both channels lineups fresh into the fall, new series, movies and special content will continue to be added to both the English and French network schedules as early as next month. On Saturday, October 3 beginning at 9:55 a.m. ET, Family Jr. will introduce the new Canadian original puppet series Playdate to the lineup. Following Playdate, will be the new animated special Thomas & Friends: Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure, plus new episodes of The Save-Ums!, Topsy and Tim, Julius Jr. and Yo Gabba Gabba! leading up to the network premiere of the movie Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey at 6 p.m. ET.

Respectively, Télémagino is also packing in new content with two new series – Yo Gabba Gabba! at 7:30 a.m. ET and 1,2,3, Bo! at 9:30 a.m. ET – and new episodes of Strawberry Shortcake, Thomas & Friends, The Save-Ums!, Franny's Feet and Bananas in Pyjamas. Thomas & Friends: Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure conclude the new lineup for the day at 6 p.m. ET.

Since Rogers didn't have Disney Junior in French, is there a chance in the future that they will offer Télémagino?

I looked at the Télémagino web site earlier and the channel is only carried in Quebec (plus the 2 satellite companies).

Family Channel has announced the new pop culture series, Savvy, will begin shooting in Toronto in early October and will debut on Family in Spring 2016, packaged into 20 x 30-minute episodes.

DHX Television unveils Family CHRGD on Friday, October 9

Family CHRGD is powering up on Friday, October 9 with a full-day marathon from 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. ET. Series premieres for the day include: the animated Kung Fu series Xiaolin Chronicles at 9:30 a.m. ET; Horrible Histories at 10:30 a.m. ET; and Deadly 60 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The 13-hour marathon will be rounded out with popular series including the original hit Gaming Show (In My Parents' Garage), Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, World of Quest and Be the Creature. Also part of the schedule throughout the fall will be Disney's Mighty Med, Phineas and Ferb, Kickin' It and Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.

Sonic Boom debuts on Saturday, October 24 at 10:30 a.m. ET following a triple-stack of Gaming Show (In My Parents' Garage) including a new episode at 10 a.m. ET. Three back-to-back episodes of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will also air on October 24 beginning at 3 p.m. ET.

Other programs debuting on the channel later this year include specials from Mattel's Team Hot Wheels; the underwater animated adventure The Deep; new episodes of the popular Canadian series Slugterra; and Fangbone!.

Family Channel's new teen block F2N launches January 4

Family Channel is expanding it's offering with F2N – a new timeslot on the schedule featuring exclusive series and popular movies for teens. Beginning Monday, January 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, F2N takes over nighttime viewing on Family Channel, anchored by the highly-anticipated debut of Degrassi: Next Class.

DHX signed a five-year exclusive deal with DreamWorks Animation as described in this thread:

The deal includes 1,000 half-hours from DreamWorks Animation, to be broadcast beginning as early as June 2016 across DHX Television's channels. Series coming to the network include All Hail King Julien, The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show, Dragons: Race to the Edge, The Croods, and many others. DHX will also co-produce 130 half-hours with DreamWorks. The announcement also mentioned 300 half-hours from AwesomenessTV, which includes the previously announced series airing in January.

Family Jr. hosts a special presentation of Teletubbies on Saturday, December 19 at 9:15 a.m. ET. New episodes of the series continue on January 9 when the show moves to its regular timeslot, Saturdays and Sundays at 8 a.m. ET. Press Release.

Family Channel will premiere Lost & Found Music Studios on Friday, January 8 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will also be offered on Family OnDemand as they become available weekly beginning January 9. Press Release.

DHX Media has been commissioned by CBBC in the UK to produce two seasons of Airmageddon (24x22'), which will also premiere on Family CHRGD in Spring 2016. Press Release.

Season Four of The Next Step Premieres February 15 on Family

The Next Step returns for its fourth season on the Family Day Weekend. A nonstop three-day, full series marathon begins Saturday, February 13 at 6 a.m. ET/PT which culminates with the season four premiere on Monday, February 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET/PT. Following the Family Day festivities, new episodes will air regularly Fridays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT beginning February 19.

Family OnDemand will also offer new episodes as they become available weekly beginning March 1, with select episodes available for viewing on Family.ca.

Family Channel Lifts the Curtain on the Series Premiere of Backstage on Friday, March 18

Family Channel opens the doors to Keaton School of the Arts on Friday, March 18 at 7 p.m. ET/PT with the series premiere of its new drama Backstage from Fresh TV. Following the series premiere, 30 new episodes of Backstage will air regularly Fridays at 7 p.m. ET/PT ahead of The Next Step. Episodes will also be offered on Family OnDemand as they become available weekly beginning March 19.

March Break gets an early start on Family Channel when the new original feature film Ice Girls glides onto the network, Friday, March 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Little People Moves Onto Family Jr. This March

Little People debuts on Family Jr. with a special presentation on Monday, March 14 at 12 p.m. ET. The series will premiere in its regular timeslot on Monday, March 21 at 3:55 p.m. ET.

The special Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue airs at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, March 14.

DHX Media and Ragdoll Productions commissioned for season two of Twirlywoos

DHX Media and Ragdoll Productions announce that UK broadcaster CBeebies has commissioned 25 x 11 minute new episodes of the preschool series Twirlywoos. The series is produced in association with DHX Media, which also handles global distribution, merchandising, brand management and marketing and shows the program on Family Jr. and Télémagino in Canada.

DHX Media Announces New Commissions for Three Series

Chuck's Choice (40 x 11') has been commissioned by YTV in Canada; Space Ranger Roger (13 x 30') is commissioned by Family Jr.; and season two of Inspector Gadget (26 x 30') has been commissioned by TELETOON, in Canada. All three series are being produced at DHX Studios.
