Yeah, no kidding, I thought CTV was supposed to be a Canadian network, and not American. But it's been like this for years now, and only continues to get worse.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

^^^ That's what you call CanCon filler - milk it for all it's worth.

Yes Dr.Dave, that's what it is. FILLER and a way to milk as much as possible of the shows Bell buys.

I remember a post you made in the Space channel section sometime in February. It was about Orphan Black which was to debut on March 30 if I'm not mistaken. Well now Bell has put it on CTV Fridays at 9:00PM.

The only reason I don't cut the cord is for Live Sports because all the rest of the channels are not worth it.

I don't think that the Orphan Black example is appropriate . Space has already shown the full season and now people who don't have that channel will be able to see it on a channel more readily available to most . It's obviously also a business decision but in this case it seems to work for consumers who might not otherwise have had the chance to view it .The critical acclaim didn't hurt either .

I don't think Bell put Orphan Black on CTV so others will watch it. They have switched shows from one channel to another in mid season.

Shaw and Rogers will also put lots of filler in their channels.

I just hope that now that Bell owns The Movie Network and HBO that they will not ruin the programming there too.

A CTV show that I Bell gets next year is The Following second season.

Huh?? Why else would they put it on CTV? It's a big hurrah to the show that its going on CTV now! That doesn't happen with cable shows very often. Lots more people will see it than seen it on SPACE.

Something wrong with this!

CTV has just announced the programing times of its new daytime series "The Social" CTV at 1 pm........CTV2 at 2pm........E at 7pm. One production cost spread over three different channels each day. Great for the bean counters. Really is that what we expected from this network as it promotes Canadian culture....etc.....etc. Oh yes the show does have diversity in its hosts......so it does meet some of the CRTC's expectations. Otherwise it is a copy of the View. Broadcasting in this Country continues on its downwards spiral. How many more hours of EntertainmentNewsCelebrityFlashing do we need?

Cool Tweetle Dum and Tweetle Dumber

The Social will also be similar to omg! Insider because of its slant towards "social" media.

I will watch the first show.

#I'm So Excited, I think I'll like it.

It's LIVE!!!! OMG! Let's talk about twerking and suicide.

CTV+CTV2+E! = A Threesome with four female hosts. We need a fourth channel!

#omg! Outsider
#The View from Canada
#Social Tea biscuits
#The Talk to the hand
#ET phone home
#Twerk off
#Suicide is painless

I can confirm that my scheduled recordings show the same thing and that in the Rogers IPG "Colbert Report" only comes up under Comedy. Everyone change your PVR settings if you've been recording CTV.

Yep, Daily Show at Midnight followed by Jimmy Fallon on CTV.
On Comedy Network, Daily Show at 11:00PM followed by Colbert Report.

More program shuffling from Bell and taking away the one-two punch of the Daily Show and Colbert Report from CTV.
