Using Zip.ca and TMN/HBO effectively?

When I subbed to the movie channels, I suspended my ZIP account. I miss getting BD from Zip, but I don't want to duplicate things. I don't mind waiting for movies to air on the movie channels, so I want to make sure that my Zip choices are only things that won't air. Is there a quick way to do this or am I going to have to search every title?

Their movie schedule on tmn web site would be your best best....or buy the magazine at any ROGERS outlet.

Home Theatre: Yamaha HTR-6190, Klipsch Speakers, SANYO PLV-Z4, TOSHIBA HDDVD, LG BD555C, Cerwin Vega HTS12 Sub, VIP2300, XBox 360, HTPC.

Yes, that's a problem, however. The movies are available with Zip long before airing on the specialty channels. I guess I need to look into which studios have exclusives with Super Channel and stock Zip with those titles only.

Only use Zip for movies that are 2+ years old. If the movie channel hasn't aired those movies yet, they probably won't.

Also look at Superchannel's website. Those movies won't be on TMN/MC, so will be good Zip candidates.

If you don't get HBO, then check their site too.

I did the opposite, I had the Super Chanel Movies and because of the lack of control I decided to look for an Online Movie Rental.

What I like about it is that you can select the movies that you want and the max you'll wait for them will never be as long as waiting for them to go on the Super Channels.

If you don't mind letting the TV Chanel what you are going to watch and when, then I'll say go for it but if you are like me and like the new releases and/or movies that I didn't see for what ever reason, I would go back to your ZipList

Hope that helps.

Take care
