I was also happy when Agent Walker came back on the show. Surprised a bit too (but its 24, after Tony came back last year, I guess anybody can).

The new season looks good, not as good as the show was about seasons 2-5, but still good.

I had already heard she had signed on for another season last year, so I knew she would make an appearance sooner or later, it was just a matter of how the writers would work her into the current plot. I suppose giving her a mentally unstable, amoral personality is as good a way as any to make her a foil for Jack (now that he seems to be mellowing in his old age ).

I don't think so. It wasn't all that long ago that the plan was for a 9th and final season next year, with Kiefer Sutherland. I think that is still a possibility.

I knew she was a mole from the very first eppisode. The some one is bad at CTU story has been done to death. They really needed some new fresh shocking ideas.

I have a photographic memory, trouble is most times the lens cap is on.

I was just saying that at work today. CTU has the most lax hiring policies of any company in the world.

The other thing that gets me is this: OK. So we have a scenario where CTU building has been attacked. You would think JOB ONE would be to clear out ANYBODY who shouldn't be there right? But yet we have some hick parole officer wondering around "being briefed on the situation" and wanting to talk to the HEAD HONCHO at an incredibly busy period. In the middle of the night, not less. They would say, go home and make an appointment for next June.

Imagine 9-11 and some parole officer walking into the Pentagon wanting to talk to the Chief Military Liason. Would never happen.

My two favourite shows are both ending this year. Lost and 24 have been my favourite shows for the past 6 years.

I'm still wondering how CTU managed to hire someone who has a fake ID and was a criminal in the past. And the parole officer is just annoying. I don't even see why he was allowed to be there in the first place during the middle of a national crisis.

I totaly agree, no way he would have clearance to be there durring a national emergency.
Every time I heard him speak I saw Bill Dauterive from King of the hill

Exclamation It might not be dead yet!

20th is reportedly open to shopping the show to another network, but a studio spokesman would not comment on that. Gordon told B&C if 20th is shopping the show it is "without my consent or knowledge, but it's Fox's property, so they can do what they want with it. They haven't come to me with it."
