Ooma and Moving

Hi I have Ooma and I am moving out of Toronto to Stoney Creek. My understanding is I just plug it in in the new house and it works. I guess the area code means nothing now. I will still have a 416 code but won't be in Toronto.

Do they have a 911 service? If so, better update it to your new address.
Also, a 416 number might be long distance to people in Stoney Creek.

I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

Yes Ooma supports 911 but you must update the address with them to stay current. I have used 911 once on Ooma. It takes a couple hops for you to connect to your local 911 call centre.

Just get an internet connection and you are good to go.

My parents take theirs to New Mexico every year. Works perfect!
