Thumbs up Seems to be fixed!

Yup,.. I agree with HWP. All is good,.. strong signal strength here, great audio/video with no EPG and no more video studd'd'd' ders.

The EPG stream info must have been somehow crossing the line for some tuners. Hope they can solve the reason why their EPG info stream caused such problems.

[That studdering was almost like having a multipath/delayed echo where the video-info was somehow edging into the EPG-info data stream,.. or conversely]

Going without EPG is by far the greater solution than having EPG with an unwatchable video.

Cheers to the CBC tech's!

I just checked CBLT for about 5 minutes during Cornation Street.
No Stutter!
And EPG was present!!!
The only issue was that the clock was 4 or 5 minutes slow.

So is CBLT back to normal???
Lets hope so.

Same thing here in midtown Toronto (3rd floor facing west): rock-solid CBC, clock is 4-5 minutes slow... conveniently, just after hockey ended.

Ah well. Good to have it back anyway.

here's hoping!

a shame that the entire nhl finals were seen through a stuttered time delayed pixelated haze. no amount of beer could smooth it out!

however, cbc toronto appears good so far this morning. I'll watch with hopeful eyes and report if the pixies return to play.

my thanks to whoever the hidden hero is

I haven't noticed any stuttering since the adjustments were made. Last I checked the time was still 4-5 minutes behind as others have reported.

I seem to have lost PSIP on one of my other TV's, has anyone else noticed this since the changes were made? I do have this issue with some other stations and I am happy to live with watchable programming.

Thanks to CBC for working on the problem and finding a solution.

CBC's been bad for me lately too. Was rock solid a few months ago. Almost unwatchable these days.

Antennas Direct C2V antenna pointed @ curved building NE. DB4e pointed SSE. Cable free since May 2011.

The problem is the same as before only occurs on my LG and switching antennas makes no difference. Not a reception issue but something with CBLT signal itself. This is CBCs problem.

They must have changed something that's causing certain tuners to hiccup again. I have the same problem.

This is also happening in Montreal...so you aren't alone In fact, ours has been going even before yours.

The Toronto and Montreal techs should ask their French counterparts on how to do a proper PSIP data

Except the Toronto French counterparts still haven't figured out program guide data since they went to 720p. Worked great for years previous to that.

Check my LG this morning and problem is gone.I wonder if this is related to CBLT mobile broadcasting.

Sadly I'm still seeing it on my HDHomerun. Will have to do a longer recording to see if the stuff I was still seeing was weather related.
