The FAQ on the new Crave website makes no mention at all of Roku even though the old one did, so I suspect support for that platform is just being dropped entirely. They are only supporting iOS, Android, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox, Fire TV, and Chromecast.

I never saw any mention of Roku on the old CraveTV web site. Here are some snapshots of the old FAQ before the big change on Nov. 1.

I hope they decide to offer support for the nVidia Shield soon. Yeah there's Chromecast support, but I'd rather not have to rely on my phone for it.

I've deleted a number of OT posts from this thread regarding ATV. None of the posts really contained anything worthwhile for a new thread, so if someone wishes to start a new thread regarding pros/cons of various streaming devices, please feel free.

Now back to Crave.

I am not sure if my question has been asked before, I searched this forum and couldn't find anything.

What is the different between Crave TV Just On demand for 9.99 and regular Crave TV channels 19.99 beside having access to live channels?

Referring to their website, on demand only will not have the latest movies/series and only selected past shows.

So 9.99 option it's pretty much useless if you want to watch the latest movies or Game of Thrones in April, right?

Regular option is basically Crave tv that we have had for the last few years. For $19.99 you will get live Movie Network and HBO channels with on demand as well to the latest movies shows that were available only on Movie Network and HBO before.

@liverpool here is another thread that discusses the difference between the 2 Crave options in more detail. @bev fan summed it up pretty well.

Samsung Smart TVs are still listed as supported devices.

I've created a new thread just for schedule information, including Bell Media's monthly press releases of upcoming Crave programming.

Crave Schedules Including HBO, Starz, Showtime and Movies

Today's press release also reminds us that STARZ becomes available directly to Canadians as an add-on to Crave beginning the week of March 4. You can also subscribe to Starz (formerly TMN Encore) through your TV provider, where it is usually available in an optional bundle with Crave + Movies + HBO.

Please continue to use this thread for all other Crave discussions.

Is there anyway I can use Crave TV app to work with google smart speaker?

Netflix does and it's a very useful feature like saying: ""hey google, play friends on Netflix"", then it cast the show on TV using chromecast.
