Anyone use the Samsung TV app, was working ok for me, although SD quality, but now seems to load forever.

I didn't see it last week, so must be really new, but it was on my f8500 today, just had to activate it using my tmn web account

Just an update, it's been working pretty good the last couple of days. The pic quality is really good now, hd quality, on all shows and movies I watched so far. The loading time is much faster now. The interface is way better than the tmn on demand you get on cable, much faster and easier to navigate.

As far as I can tell, there's still no Android app...

I still do not see it on my Samsung Smart TV. I have HBO Go, Showtime, netflix, amazon, etc. but no TMN Go.

The app is on my Samsung Smart TV, I am trying it out now, and it accepted my registration. It is taking forever to load a movie I selected, though. Perhaps it needs a really fast internet connection.

My TV is a very new model from this year, series 9000. I only purchased it a month ago.

I wonder if they're only releasing it for 2013 smart tv's and not previous versions.

That would be both a shame and pretty assholish behavior imo.

Have you tried going to "Samsung apps", colinpeddle, and seeing if it can be downloaded from there? I know that the app was already present on my TV when I bought it, but additional apps are available through the Samsung apps, and that may be where you will find it for older smart TVs.

It seams you are on the US market, if you change it to the Canadian market you should see it. I have it on this years f8500 model

What's your download speed? Mine is 50, and I had issues with loading times the first couple of days, but now it's better, still not as fast as netflix.

My download speed is 20, and according to Eastlink, that should be good enough for 3 simultaneous HD feeds. Actually, the first movie I tried was very slow to load, but a second try later on was much better. I was only testing things out, so only watched a small portion, and playback appeared to be smooth.

One other thing that I found out is that CC needs to be enabled through the TV, rather than through the app itself, as is the case with the iPad app. I found this out by contacting TMN Go customer support, and was surprised by how quickly they got back to me.

yes, this is where I've been looking for it for the past week. I've see other apps being added this past week, but not TMN GO.

I'm unsure how to make this change. There are no specific options for this.
