I can't seem to login properly. I enter my username and password, and a grey screen comes up saying:

Anyone else getting this problem?

TMNGo

I saw that TMNGo had launched so I tweeted Eastlink about customers being able to sign up. They confirmed we will be getting it.

Angry TMN GO on Shaw Direct

A new iPad app, TMN GO has recently become available for Bell, Cogeco and other Canadian providers.

It seems that Shaw / Shawdirect are not currently supported by the app, which is no doubt something that Shaw is not willing or able to support.

Shaw currently provides VOD, but that's not supported on iPad and similar devices, just via PC or some of the Shaw STBs.

Anyone have some information on Shaw's position on TMN GO? Will Shaw sign on to TMN GO?

Considering the delay in seeing more HD channels added via Anik G1, lack of support for TMN GO, and for that matter even a list of channels we can expect to have added when/if Anik G1 becomes operational, Bell and other providers are looking considerably more attractive every day.

Eastlink doesn't offer this service either, and I have no idea why not.

What a coincidence - Eastlink just announced today that they added TMN, TMN Encore and HBO Canada to "Eastlink To Go". Also,

Eastlink customers subscribing to The Movie Network can also access TMN, TMN Encore and HBO Canada content on TMN GO.

and as usual, Shaw and Shaw Direct are the major BDU hold outs. Even Source Cable has this service.

That s great news, Dr. Dave. I tried it today, and it works well on my iPad. I was also happy to be able to enable closed captioning while using this service.

My understanding is that broadcast rights issues are the reason for this service not being available outside Canada, similar to the reasons behind why some US sites cannot be viewed outside the USA.

I wonder if Bell will allow this service to continue now that the Astral takeover has been approved by the CRTC.
