Pilot Season on Amazon

Not seen any mention of the new Pilot Season by Amazon on this site.

I've just watched The After, From Chris Carter, creator of The X-Files. Eight strangers are thrown together by mysterious forces and must help each other survive in a violent world that defies explanation.

And last night, Bosch, Based on Michael Connelly's best-selling book series, Bosch (Titus Welliver), an LAPD homicide detective works to solve the murder of a 13-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court for the murder of a serial killer.

Both were really good shows, well written, good cast, suspense, storyline. It's then up to us viewers to vote which gets chosen for full seasons.

Thumbs up Play it again, Mo

The only one I liked enough to fill out the Amazon survey, hoping that it will become a series was Mozart in the Jungle.

I'll certainly watch at least one more episode of any of the other series that get the green light, just to see if I get hooked, but Mozart is the one that has me hooked already.

I think I lasted around 7, maybe 10 minutes (got as far as the party scene) with Mozart before giving up. Just didn't appeal. The same with the other comedy, Transparent.

Unhappy Two's company, One's not enough

It would be best if each series had 2 episodes made to sample. Mozart gets better towards the end and I imagine that the other series will also improve as they go along.

Transparent seems a bit too wacky for my tastes, but I need more than one episode to be sure.

So far, Amazon is picking up 4 of the pilots: Bosch, The After, Mozart In the Jungle and Transparent.

The Rebels is being put on hold ... perhaps code for: maybe next time, losers!

Alpha House will return for a second season, but Betas will not.

Happy to see Bosch get picked up. I've just got hold of the books, so have some reading to do before the show starts for proper.
